Who needs the Thailand Digital Arrival Card?

As part of Thailand's "Smart Tourism 2026" initiative, the legacy TM6 paper card has been phased out for air travelers at major international airports. It has been replaced by the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) for all air travelers. This system is active at Bangkok (BKK & DMK), Phuket (HKT), Chiang Mai (CNX), and other international airports.

All foreign nationals entering Thailand by air must submit their arrival information, regardless of visa type:

  • Visa Exemption: Tourists from 64 countries (USA, UK, EU, Australia, etc.) entering for 30-60 days.
  • Visa on Arrival (VOA): Travelers eligible for VOA must still complete the TDAC.
  • Long Term Visas: Holders of LTR, Elite, Education, or Retirement visas are also required to declare arrival details.

Tip: Apply in Advance

While airport kiosks exist, they often have long queues. Filing online 3 days before travel lets you use the "Fast Lane" at immigration checkpoints.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as the "TM6" form?
Yes, effectively. The TM6 was the blue paper card travelers filled out on the plane. The TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is the modern, electronic replacement for the TM6, designed to speed up immigration.
Does this application guarantee entry?
No. The TDAC is a mandatory declaration of arrival details, but final entry approval is always at the discretion of the Immigration Officer at the border. You must still meet standard visa requirements (e.g., proof of funds, return ticket).
What if I made a mistake?
If you use our service, we review your application before submission. If we spot an obvious error (like a passport number format), we will email you to correct it. If you notice a mistake after submission, contact our 24/7 support immediately.
Do I need to print the QR code?
It is highly recommended to print a physical copy or save a screenshot on your phone. Internet access at airports can be unreliable, and immigration officers may ask to scan the code from your device or paper.
Can I apply for my whole family?
Yes. Unlike the official portal which requires individual submissions, our service allows you to process up to 6 travelers in a single transaction. Select the number of passengers in the form above to start a group application.

Is the service fee worth it?

While the official Thailand Digital Arrival Card is free, our agency charges a fee to provide value-added services that the government does not offer. This includes manual error detection to prevent rejection, simplified English forms, data retrieval backups, and 24/7 email support. Using our service ensures a stress-free experience, especially for first-time travelers or groups.
